The President of Ukraine invited former US President Donald Trump to Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy made such a proposal during an interview for the NBC News channel.
“He’s very welcome as well. President Biden was here, and I think he understood some details which you can understand only being here. So I invite President Trump,” Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyy expressed doubts about Trump’s support for Ukraine in case the American politician is re-elected to the post of US president. In March, Trump promised to end the war between Russia and Ukraine within a day and save the world from World War III.
“Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settled. It will be settled quickly,” Trump said.
To this, the president of Ukraine replied that 24 minutes would be enough for him to explain to Donald Trump that he cannot lead a war. “If he can come here, I will need 24 minutes — yes, 24 minutes. Not more. Yes. He can’t bring peace because of Putin,” Zelenskyy added.
In October of this year, Trump also admitted that he would not defend Europe if Putin attacked the countries during his presidency. The politician blackmailed European leaders that the US would not defend NATO allies under his leadership.
