#Vote in Ukraine’s Parliamentary Elections July 21
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) calls upon Ukrainian citizens around the world to exercise their democratic right by casting a vote in Ukraine’s Parliamentary Election on July 21, 2019.
“Ukraine’s future is in your hands,” stated UWC President Paul Grod. “The recent Presidential elections were deemed to be among the most democratic in Ukraine’s history and the UWC is pleased to once again participate as international observers for the parliamentary elections both in Ukraine and at diplomatic missions globally.”
Elections this year are taking place under difficult circumstances as Ukrainians are forced to defend their freedom and territorial integrity against Russian military aggression and occupation.
The UWC is appealing to all citizens of Ukraine, including those living abroad, to participate in charting Ukraine’s future course by voting on July 21.
“Please vote your conscience and do not allow anyone to sway your vote with empty promises, threats or bribes,” stated Paul Grod. “The UWC remains committed to protecting the interests of Ukraine and Ukrainians around the world. Together we have secured Ukraine’s rightful place among the developed democratic nations of Europe. Let’s not allow our enemies to take that away from us.”
