Despite Russia’s expectations that the West will get tired of the war in Ukraine, the assistance provided to Ukraine by its allies seems only to get stronger. Just a few examples:
The U.S. Department of Defense announced another one security assistance package valued at up to $400 million to meet Ukraine’s critical security and defense needs, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters at a briefing. The package includes:
- Missiles for HAWK air defense systems;
- Four Avenger air defense systems;
- Stinger missiles;
- Additional ammunition for the HIMARS;
- 21,000 155 millimeter artillery rounds;
- 500 precision-guided 155 millimeter artillery rounds
- 10,000 120 millimeter mortar rounds;
- 100 Humvees;
- 400 grenade launchers;
- Small arms and more than 20 million rounds of small arms ammunition;
- Demolition equipment for obstacle clearing;
- Optics, and
- Cold weather gear.
The United Kingdom is going to provide Ukraine with another 1,000 surface-to-air missiles topped up with 25,000 extreme cold winter kits, U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wrote on Twitter.
A Russian withdrawal from Kherson would be strong progress, but it is right to be cautious until the 🇺🇦 flies over the city again.

Poland has given Ukraine another lot of 1,570 Starlink terminals, Ukraine’s Digital Transformation Minister Mykhaylo Fedorov wrote on Telegram.
