The World Congress of Ukrainian Youth Organization (WCUYO) is helping to formulate recommendations and proposals towards the Youth of Ukraine State Program Concept. This document creates directions for youth development over the next four years, until 2030.
These contributions result from three days of intensive work at the Ukrainian Youth Forum: Free to Dream. It connected 200 of Ukraine’s most active young leaders to communicate and share their experiences while working in communities both within Ukraine and abroad. The event was initiated and conducted by the Youth Council under the President of Ukraine, of which WCUYO President Alex Greceniuc is a member.
“WCUYO participated in the Diaspora Youth and Internally Displaced Persons session. Discussions identified areas for Ukraine’s work with youth abroad, with recommendations to include them in the Concept,” WCUYO reported.
On International Youth Day, August 12, representatives of the Ukrainian government gathered to greet participants in the event. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also addressed the attendees.
“Notably, during the event, the first question posed to the President was from a representative of the diaspora youth, WCUYO President Alex Greceniuc,” noted WCUYO.
