UWC’s IECC and Ministry of Education launch webinars for Ukrainian educational communities abroad

The UWC’s International Educational Coordinating Council (IECC), in partnership with the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, is launching a series of webinars aimed at supporting Ukrainian educational communities abroad.

This project seeks to foster a sustainable dialogue between Ukrainian educational institutions and government bodies, as well as formal and informal educational centers worldwide, said Lyuba Lyubchyk, IECC’s chair.

Ukraine is part of the European Bologna Process, an educational system that standardizes educational degrees across Europe and ensures high quality in education. 

“Country by country, community by community, we will discuss how to preserve the Ukrainian identity of children, strengthen their educational ties with Ukraine, and create pathways for their reintegration into the Ukrainian education system,” Lyubchyk said.

Participants in the project will also introduce practical solutions and resources for Ukrainian-language schools in the diaspora to address educational needs and demands.

Educational leaders and representatives from abroad are invited to take part. The first webinar will be held on April 15 at 4 p.m. Kyiv time, with educators from Germany.
