“On behalf of the Ukrainian World Congress, I want to wish all French and friends of France a happy 14th of July!
France has always played an outstanding role in Europe, North America and globally. The Great French Revolution has laid foundation for the present-day democracy and basic values of the rules-based international order. The great motto “Liberte Egalite Fraternite” has once ignited the fire of freedom on both sides of the Atlantic.
Today, the leadership of France remains vital for Europe. The Putinist Russia tries not only to crush Ukraine, but also to undermine basic European values and cripple the Trans-Atlantic unity. Russia won’t stop if Ukraine falls.
Today France must once again raise the flag of freedom and lead the United Europe towards a victory of light over darkness, democracy over tyranny. We thank President Macron and the French government for their strong support of Ukraine.
The spirit and sense of freedom bounds our nations.
