The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) stands resolutely with the people of Ukraine and their democratically elected President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who won his mandate in the free and fair elections of 2019.
We unequivocally reject any allegations challenging the legitimacy of Ukraine’s current President, government, or parliament. These baseless accusations are irresponsible, legally unfounded, and politically detrimental. They serve only to amplify the propaganda narratives of the heinous Putin regime, which aims to destabilize Ukraine and undermine the trust of its citizens in their government.
“We stand in solidarity with hundreds of global leaders and public figures, including prominent voices from both major US political parties, who have expressed unwavering support for the Ukrainian people and their leaders,” stated UWC President Paul Grod.
“Our foremost priority is to achieve lasting peace and secure robust guarantees for Ukraine’s security. This objective can only be realized through unity among ourselves and with Ukraine’s allies and friends. It is imperative that we counter Russian disinformation, disseminate the truth about the events in Ukraine, and steadfastly defend Ukrainian interests wherever we are,” Grod emphasized.
