The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) expresses outrage over the artillery strikes on nursery school № 381, city hospital № 27 and dental clinic in Donetsk on 4 February 2015 by Russia-backed militants of the so-called Donetsk people’s republic.
According to preliminary reports, as many as 10 civilians were killed and many were wounded as a result of this crime.
The UWC expresses condolences to the families of the victims and the injured of these terrorist attacks in Donetsk.
“The Ukrainian World Congress reiterates its call for the international community to act decisively to immediately end the decimation of the civilian population in Eastern Ukraine, the responsibility for which lies with the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics and the Russian Federation, which arms the terrorists and actively supports them with special forces,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
