UWC President to visit Berlin and address Ukraine Recovery Conference

Next week, a delegation from the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), headed by Paul Grod, is scheduled to make an official visit to Berlin. The agenda for the visit includes high-level meetings and community dialogues, focusing on key issues such as advocating for Ukraine’s interests, engaging the Ukrainian diaspora in Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts, and aiding Ukrainian refugees temporarily residing in Germany.

Paul Grod will address the international Ukraine Recovery Conference scheduled for June 11-12 during the visit. Additionally, Yarema Kovaliv, the director of the UWC’s Energize Ukraine initiative, will participate in the conference. This global initiative focuses on helping Ukraine restore its energy infrastructure.

On Thursday, June 13, at 18:00, a community meeting is scheduled in Berlin featuring the President of the Ukrainian World Congress. Also attending will be Volodymyr Kogutyak, UWC Vice President for Western Europe and Vice President of the Association of Ukrainians in France, and Lyuba Lyubchyk, Chair of the UWC’s International Educational Coordinating Council (IECC). The event will be held at the Hotel Continental – Weit.Blick, Archenholdstraße 25, 10315 Berlin.

As part of the visit, the UWC President will meet with German officials, diplomats, and representatives from UWC constituent organizations in Germany. Discussions will also involve leaders of various youth organizations. The UWC President will also participate in the Assembly of the Union of Ukrainian Organizations in Germany.
