The President of the Ukrainian World Congress, Paul Grod, will pay a working visit to a number of countries in Southern Europe. The trip will take place in March.
The purpose of the visit is to advocate for Ukraine’s interests. The meetings will primarily focus on Ukraine’s EU and NATO integration, consolidated support for Ukraine worldwide, and support for temporarily displaced Ukrainians.
So far, the meetings are planned in Portugal (Lisbon and Porto) and Spain (Madrid and Barcelona). This includes engagements with Ukrainian communities and newly arrived Ukrainians forced to seek refuge from the war.
The program includes meetings with high-ranking officials, diplomats, religious representatives, opinion leaders and MEPs.
Details of the UWC President’s visit to South European countries will be announced later.
