UWC President to discuss importance of expediting Ukraine’s Euro-integration with high-ranking EU officials

On 25 February – 1 March, 2013, Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij will travel to Brussels, Belgium, on a working visit.

 

During this visit, the UWC President will meet at the European Parliament with high-ranking European Union officials to discuss the importance of expediting Ukraine’s Euro-integration. Discussions will focus on issues related to the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, the adherence of Ukraine’s governing authorities to fundamental European values and the danger of Ukraine joining the Customs Union.

 

The UWC recently wrote to EU leaders calling upon them to expedite Ukraine’s Euro-integration, and to President Viktor Yanukovych calling upon him to take concrete steps in this regard.
