UWC President to conduct official visit to Australia

Ukrainian World Congress President Paul Grod will make an official 15-day visit to Australia starting on March 8. He is set to meet with key public and political leaders across the country.

The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations (AFUO) has announced two community meetings with President Grod: one on March 8 in Sydney and another on March 18 in Melbourne. More details are available via the provided link.

President Grod’s visit will feature participation in the AFUO Triennial General Meeting (Zyizd), a major forum that serves as the primary platform for the growth of the Ukrainian community in Australia. The congress will take place on March 14-16 in Melbourne, and will include panel discussions on education, community initiatives, and the various components of the AFUO.

The visit will kick off with a series of events in Sydney, including a speech by President Grod at a rally in support of Ukraine near the city hall, as well as participation in community activities and interviews with local media. Official meetings with local government representatives and engagements with the Ukrainian community are also scheduled.

While in Melbourne, Grod will meet with members of the clergy and deliver a speech at a charity gala dinner.
