UWC President meets with Chair of France-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group

On January 28, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Paul Grod held an online conference with Valéria Faure-Muntian, Chair of France-Ukraine Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Taras Horiszny and Danylo Sztul, leaders of the Representative Committee of the Ukrainian Community in France, and UWC executive director Mariia Kupriianova joined this meeting. The discussion focused on the security situation in Ukraine, threat of further Russian invasion and consolidation of international community efforts to support Ukraine.

The UWC President thanked France for its continued support for Ukraine’s diplomatic efforts, solidarity with the international allies in support for Ukraine.

Mrs Faure-Muntian assured of France’s continued support and stressed its commitment to the principle of “Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine”.

The discussion focused on opportunities for cooperation in the parliamentary dimension and further joint informational initiatives about Ukrainian issues.
