UWC President Grod participates in Ukraine Action Summit in Washington

Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Paul Grod addressed the fifth Ukraine Action Summit held by the American Coalition for Ukraine in Washington, D.C. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to support Ukraine during this challenging historical moment.

Grod said the voices of Ukrainians must be heard worldwide to advocate for Ukraine’s victory. The strength of the global Ukrainian community lies in its capable and well-established organizations.

More than 500 participants from 47 U.S. states assembled in Washington to support Ukraine at the summit. Over four days, Ukraine supporters participated in meetings and honed their advocacy skills through workshops, the Ukraine House reported.

We were thrilled to host their reception, reaffirming that pro-Ukraine advocacy continues to flourish as the war endures. With such passionate and unwavering support, there’s no doubt that Ukraine will stand strong,” the organizers said.

The Ukraine Action Summit is an event for individuals and organizations who support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. It facilitates the exchange of best advocacy practices and raises awareness among elected officials about the necessity of supporting Ukraine’s victory.

It’s a biannual event that draws delegates from across the U.S.
