On 22 October 2015 Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij extended written greetings to His Beatitude Patriarch Filaret on the 20th anniversary of his faithful service as Head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kyiv Patriarchate.
The UWC President noted the tireless spiritual work of His Beatitude Patriarch Filaret sowing goodness and mercy, caring for the salvation of the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kyiv Patriarchate and, with his authoritative word, giving them the necessary strength during this difficult time for Ukraine.
In the congratulatory letter Eugene Czolij confirmed that the UWC highly values the dedicated work of the Patriarch in developing the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kyiv Patriarchate, promoting the rich heritage of the Ukrainian people and their national dignity, and also his prayers and far-reaching awareness activities for achieving peace in Ukraine.
“We wish you, Your Beatitude, God’s blessing, good health and all God’s graces for continued faithful service to our Church, Nation and Ukraine,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
