UWC PRESIDENT EUGENE CZOLIJ VISITS UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY IN BELGIUM
The President of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) Eugene Czolij was in Brussels on March 14, 2011 where he met Belgium’s Ukrainian community.
Vitali Vengrynovych, the President of UWC’s member organization, the Association of Ukrainians in Belgium (AUB), familiarized Eugene Czolij with the community and the activities of AUB. The UWC President discussed ways of strengthening AUB’s ties with the UWC.
In AUB’s centre that evening, Eugene Czolij addressed the community during a public meeting. He provided information about UWC’s activities in the last year, noting the disconcerting current events in Ukraine and UWC’s work in defending Ukrainians’ human and national rights.
