UWC President Eugene Czolij meets with Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs Andriy Deshchytsia
On 23 March 2014 Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij together with Ukrainian Canadian Congress President Paul Grod discussed current Ukrainian affairs with the Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs, Andriy Deshchytsia.
Topics included the stabilization of the current crisis in Ukraine, support for the UN resolution as proposed by Ukraine on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the illegitimate referendum in Crimea and Sevastopol, sanctions against Russia for the unlawful occupation of Crimea and the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
The parties also discussed future cooperation between the UWC and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian World Congress will continue to defend the interests of Ukraine throughout the world and promote its accession into the EU,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
