UWC President discusses key insights from meeting with President Zelenskyy

Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress, shared details of his recent meeting with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Chernivtsi during an interview with Ukraine’s “1+1” channel. The UWC President emphasized that the discussion with President Zelenskyy centered on bolstering international support for Ukraine by leveraging strong Ukrainian communities worldwide.

The global Ukrainian community should concentrate its efforts on three primary areas: supporting Ukraine’s bid to join NATO, facilitating its accession to the European Union, and promoting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula.

“We must activate all communities so that Ukraine is in the spotlight worldwide. We fight for this and will do everything possible to influence civil societies through the media, separately with politicians, so that Ukraine receives maximum support – politically, militarily, and economically,” emphasized Paul Grod.

In Western democratic nations, politicians pay close attention to the opinions of their constituents. “And it is important, first of all, to influence voters, to speak to voters in the conditions of their country, that is, in Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, English [languages], so that we can work with them. And this is the main task, exactly what we discussed with Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” Grod explained.

On April 12, a Ukrainian World Congress delegation headed by President Paul Grod held an official meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The meeting occurred before the start of the Ukrainian World Congress Summit in Bucharest.
