The Ukrainian World Congress has partnered with the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” for the KMAcademic Talks: International Law and the War project – a series of online webinars running from April to June.
The project’s primary objective is to engage in conversations about critical aspects of international law in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. It will highlight the studies by academic researchers on Russia’s crimes in Ukraine and the international response to these transgressions.
The collaboration is designed to promote dialogue on pertinent issues and assemble a detailed compilation of arguments and evidence illustrating Russia’s breaches of international law. This compiled information will be instrumental for advocacy, enriching public debate, and bolstering Ukraine’s position on diverse international platforms.
The Ukrainian World Congress is set to play a pivotal part in facilitating these discussions by distributing webinar resources, connecting Ukrainian communities globally, enhancing dialogue between the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and the Ukrainian diaspora, and creating a network centered around these vital conversations.
The first webinar, scheduled for April 6, will focus on the ecological impact of Russian military actions and the consequences of the attack on the Kakhovka HPP in June last year.
This event will feature Dmytro Koval, an Associate Professor at the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.” Registration for the lecture is available at the following link. Upon confirmation of registration, participants will receive an invitation to the lecture.
