UWC calls on G7 leaders to strengthen sanctions on Russia

The Ukrainian World Congress has written to the G7 as they gather today in Germany. UWC calls upon the G-7 to enhance sanctions in order to stop funding Russia’s war machine. This includes providing equipment that will operate the nordstream one turbine which is currently being held in Canada. Furthermore UWC calls upon the G7 to ensure India stops financing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and global economic distruction. UWC calls on Ukrainian communities in G7 countries to call their political representatives and political leaders today to deliver this message. Every day hundreds of Ukrainians are killed by Russia’s war machine. You must do everything possible to stop this bloodshed and end Russia’s invasion and occupation of Ukraine.
