The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), in partnership with social enterprise Saint Javelin, has announced the launch of a special holiday campaign titled “Birds of Freedom 2.0 – A Christmas Special.”
This global fundraising initiative aims to urgently supply essential first-person view (FPV) drones to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, especially as demand for this crucial equipment reaches unprecedented levels amidst Russia’s ongoing genocidal war of aggression.
FPV drones are valuable modern warfare tools on the battlefield and provide real-time intelligence and surveillance capabilities that enhance the effectiveness of experienced Ukrainian drone pilots in their efforts against Russia’s occupational forces.
UWC President Paul Grod emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine’s victory. The worldwide Ukrainian advocacy group’s “foremost priority is Ukraine’s victory, and we must enhance Ukraine’s battlefield capabilities using all available resources,” he said.
He noted that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become vital in the fight for independence, highlighting Ukraine’s leadership in integrating advanced drone technology into its military strategy.
The Birds of Freedom campaign invites individuals, businesses, and organizations worldwide to demonstrate solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Grod reiterated, saying, “by contributing to this campaign, supporters will significantly enhance the safety and security of Ukrainian defenders on the battlefield.”
Canada-based Saint Javelin plays a crucial role in the campaign by leveraging its fundraising and social media expertise to bolster the efforts of the UWC.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and ensuring the safety of its frontline defenders.
The UWC encourages Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine globally to contribute to the “Birds of Freedom 2.0 – A Christmas Special.” All donations will go directly towards the procurement and deployment of FPV drones, significantly impacting the ongoing struggle faced by Ukrainian forces.
As a token of appreciation for supporting the “Birds of Freedom 2.0”, the UWC is thrilled to offer exclusive thank-you gifts to our generous donors.
Contributors will receive a limited run of unique “Birds of Freedom” morale patches worn by drone pilots, symbolizing their commitment to the cause. Additionally, supporters will have the unique opportunity to personalize drones with their custom inscriptions, making a lasting mark on these vital tools for peace and freedom. These gifts serve as a reminder of their invaluable contribution and strengthen the bond between supporters and those on the front lines fighting for Ukraine’s sovereignty.
This festive season, make a significant and tangible impact on the battlefield by gifting an FPV drone. Your contribution will truly make a difference. This Christmas, give the gift of life!
