UWC Easter Greetings and Call for Support 2023

During this Easter season our thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people who are bravely defending their loved ones from Russia’s genocidal war. 

We pray for God to protect Ukraine and its people, its leadership, our clergy, community leaders, volunteers and especially, the brave men and women who are fighting back the evil Russian onslaught.  

For over a year, Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine around the world have been tirelessly and selflessly supporting Ukraine’s defenders and volunteers as well as the millions of temorarily displaced Ukrainians scattered around the world.  To all those donors and volunteers, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support.

I appeal to all civilized people around the world – please help Ukraine prevail so that we may restore peace and prosperity in the world.

We wish the defenders of Ukraine that are standing on the front lines of this horrific war, to feel the Easter spirit and love from all of us. You can make a difference by donating a lifesaving “Easter basket” – a specialized field kit filled with tactical medical supplies that will be delivered to Ukraine’s defenders.
