UWC deploys 150 international observers to monitor the repeat elections for People’s Deputies in five single mandate electoral districts




The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) is deploying an International Election Observer Mission (Mission) to monitor the elections in Ukraine on 15 December 2013.

 


150 observers, arriving in Ukraine from various countries, will monitor the process for the repeat election of People’s Deputies in five single mandate districts. Participating in the mission will be a large representation from the Ukrainian World Congress of Youth Organizations with the support of the Renaissance Fund.

 


The UWC Mission is headed by Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, and Tamara Gallo Olexy, President of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America. The Chief Observer is Peter Sochan.

 


The UWC Mission will provide a preliminary report during a press conference scheduled for 16 December 2013. The time and location will be announced at a later date.
