UWC delegation, led by President Paul Grod, to attend Munich Security Conference

A Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) delegation, led by President Paul Grod, will take part in the 61st Munich Security Conference from Feb. 14 to 16 as part of its official visit to Germany.

Alongside the premier yearly global security conference, the UWC delegation will meet with senior German officials, politicians, and prominent public figures in Munich.

Discussions will focus on strengthening support for Ukraine, advancing its Euro-Atlantic integration, securing territorial integrity, and ensuring security guarantees. The delegation will also push for progress on Ukraine’s NATO membership prospects.

Other key topics will include challenges faced by the Ukrainians who live in Germany, with an emphasis on finding solutions to support those who temporarily reside in the country.

UWC President Grod will also meet with the Ukrainian community in Germany at a special event titled, “A Just Peace Begins with Security: Ukraine in NATO,” scheduled for Feb. 16.

The UWC delegation’s visit aims to rally greater international backing for Ukraine amid ongoing security threats and ahead of potential peace negotiations. It will also address pressing issues shaping the future of Ukraine and Europe.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian community in Munich has announced a large-scale pro-Ukraine rally timed to coincide with the Munich Security Conference. UWC President Paul Grod is expected to speak at the event.
