The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) strongly condemns the armed offensive on 3 June 2015 by Russian-terrorist forces with nearly one thousand troops, tanks and artillery support, on positions held by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Maryinka, Donetsk oblast, Ukraine.
Such actions by the Russian Federation and its proxy fighters are gross violations of the Minsk agreements and disregard global rule of law.
“The UWC calls upon the international community to immediately supply Ukraine with lethal weapons to help the country defend its state borders and strengthen targeted economic sanctions against the Russian Federation until such time that it fully complies with its international obligations,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
