The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) directs the attention of the international community to the urgent need for joint effective actions to counter Russian aggression which continues to threaten stability and security in the world.
The Russian Federation has consistently tested the reaction of the international community to its illegal actions, specifically in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine.
Recently the Russian Federation has violated the airspace of sovereign states, including Turkey, a NATO member country.
“The Ukrainian World Congress calls upon the international community to stand in solidarity with Ukraine which currently enduresRussian aggression, and to provide Ukraine with effective and practical support that could assist it in defending its territorial integrity and stop the Russian aggressor’s advance to the West,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
