During recent days, as a result of continuous terrorist acts in Eastern Ukraine by militants and special forces armed by Russia, tens of innocent civilians have been killed and hundreds injured, specifically near Volnovakha, in Donetsk and Mariupol.
“The Ukrainian World Congress calls for U.S. President Barack Obama to urgently provide Ukraine with defensive military aid for the protection of its civilians and territorial integrity in accordance with the Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014 and the 1994 Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
