
The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) expresses condolences to the families of the innocent civilians who lost their lives on 13 May 2017 as a result of shelling by the Russian Federation-backed terrorists in the town of Avdiyivka, Ukraine.
The town in Eastern Ukraine came under fire in the evening resulting in four deaths, three of them women, and one serious injury.
“The Ukrainian World Congress condemns the persistent escalation of fighting by Russian Federation-backed terrorists in Eastern Ukraine and calls upon the international community to increase the sanctions against the Russian Federation until it fully complies with the Minsk agreements,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
