The United States plans to assist Ukraine in promoting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula at the international level, said John Kirby, White House National Security Council Coordinator, according to Voice of America.
“The US State Department published the minutes of the discussion held by Secretary of State Antony Blinken with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. [White House National Security Adviser] Jake Sullivan, of course, was there. They talked about the importance of continuing global support for Ukraine, and of course they also talked about what’s happening on the battlefield, how Zelenskyy sees it all,” Kirby said.
Washington is “committed to the policy of supporting the initiatives proposed by the leadership of Ukraine,” said the White House National Security Council Coordinator. Kirby added that Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the Peace Formula during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“In this way, another idea arose – to try to “promote Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula” at the international level,” said Kirby.
As was reported, the fourth international meeting of national security advisers on the Ukrainian Peace Formula took place in Davos, Switzerland, on January 15. A total of 81 countries and international organizations participated in the discussion. Then, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also met with Viola Amherd, President of the Swiss Confederation, who expressed Switzerland’s intention to organize a high-level peace conference on Ukraine.
