Ukrainian World Congress welcomes adoption of visa-free regime by European Parliament for Ukrainian citizens

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) welcomes the adoption with an overwhelming majority by the European Parliament on 6 April 2017 of a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.

The UWC was actively and persistently promoting a visa-free regime for Ukraine at the EU level and is very pleased that the EU took this significant decision that will clearly be in the best interests of both the EU and Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian World Congress congratulates the governing authorities and the people of Ukraine on the achievement of this milestone which is a testimony to the faith of the European community in Ukraine and the country’s reform path that will ultimately lead to full European integration,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
