During a working visit to Brussels, Belgium, Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij met on two occasions with members of the Ukrainian community.
On 6 December 2015, Eugene Czolij met with Fr. Oleh Zymak and parishioners of St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, while on 10 December 2015, the UWC President addressed the local community at an event organized by the Association of Ukrainians in Belgium.
The UWC President had the opportunity to share information about the work of the UWC in defence of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the activities that support the further development of Ukrainian communities around the world.
The UWC extends gratitude to Ihor Chocholak, President of the Association of Ukrainians in Belgium, for the organizational support.Eugene Czolij was accompanied by UWC Liaison Officer in the EU Maryna Iaroshevych.
“The UWC is grateful for the ongoing support of the Ukrainian community in Brussels of UWC activities and we look forward to further strengthening our cooperation for the benefit of Ukraine,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
