The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) extends greetings on the occasion of the II World Crimean Tatar Congress being held 31 July – 2 August 2015 in Ankara, Turkey.
On 30 July 2015 UWC President Eugene Czolij sent written greetings to the President of The World Congress of Crimean Tatars, Refat Chubarov, and all participants of this important gathering confirming UWC’s unequivocal support for the Crimean Tatar population in its fight to end the illegal occupation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, and in defence of its fundamental rights and freedoms.
“We firmly believe that, with our joint efforts, we will rid Crimea of enemy occupation and ensure that Crimea remains an integral part of Ukraine where fundamental freedoms and human rights will be respected,” wrote UWC President Eugene Czolij.
