The Ukrainian World Congress extends sincere greetings to the Hierarchs and clergy of Ukrainian Churches, the President, Prime Minister, Chair of the Parliament and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, leaders of Ukrainian World Congress member organizations and Ukrainians throughout the world with the greatest of Holy Days, the Resurrection of Christ!
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the greatest and holiest day for all Ukrainians, symbolizing the victory of goodness over evil, life over death, and light over darkness.
In times of happiness and grief, the Resurrection of Christ unites our people around Christian values. Today, in solidarity with Ukrainians in Ukraine, the millions-strong Ukrainian diaspora led by the Ukrainian World Congress is making every effort to assist in the defense of the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of its spiritual homeland Ukraine from Russian armed aggression.
On this Holy Day of Christ’s Resurrection the Ukrainian World Congress calls upon the global Ukrainian community to praise the Son of God, and pray for peace in Ukraine and its faithful sons and daughters who today in Eastern Ukraine bravely stand in resistance to a foreign evil empire.
May the resurrected Christ continue to be a source of light, courage and faith in the victory of goodness and in this critical period help Ukraine become a fully independent, sovereign, integral, democratic, Ukrainian and European state!
