The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) joins the international community in condemning the terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkey, on 1 January 2017 which took the lives of, and hospitalized over one hundred individuals.
On behalf of the 20-million strong Ukrainian diaspora, the UWC expresses sincere condolences to the families of the victims and prays for all those who suffered from this senseless act of terrorism during New Year’s celebrations.
“The Ukrainian World Congress calls upon the international community to remain vigilant and united in the fight against terrorism, which is now blatantly challenging global peace and security,” said the UWC President Eugene Czolij.
