Dear friends!
On behalf of the Ukrainian World Congress, please accept my sincerest greetings to all Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine during this holiday season.
Christmas is a time of thanks and giving, a time of hope and togetherness.
As we usher in the New Year, let us be proud of who we are and what we have achieved. With your generous support, we will continue to ensure the Ukrainian World Congress appropriately represents and serves all Ukrainians both in Ukraine and around the world.
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges to Ukrainian communities around the world, but the spirit of our people has shone brightly through these dark times. Whether it was providing financial support to or helping immigrant workers get home to their families, bringing cheer to our elderly community members, providing online social support and online Ukrainian school lessons, so many have shown true selflessness, generosity, and compassion. That is the greatest gift of all this season.
Stay safe this holiday season by celebrating in person with your immediate household members only and virtually with your other loved ones. Please remember that our best and only defence against this terrible virus is to avoid gathering with those outside your immediate households, practice physical distancing, stay home if you are feeling sick, wear a mask when required, and wash your hands frequently.
On behalf of the Ukrainian World Congress and my family, Adrianna, Roman, Danylo, Larysa and Olena, I extend my best wishes for peace, harmony a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year.
