The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) calls upon Ukrainian communities in Europe to support the participants of the cross-Europe cycling tour Ukraine without orphans.
The tour, organized by the All-Ukrainian Alliance “Ukrayina bez syrit” (Ukraine without orphans) in cooperation with the Special Envoy of the President of Ukraine for Children’s Rights, aims to raise funds for underprivileged children and awareness of adoption. The cyclists include children in foster care with their families, adopted children, students from boarding schools, representatives of community and charitable organizations, and individuals concerned about the welfare of Ukrainian orphans.
The tour will be in Lithuania (23-27 July 2016), Latvia (28 July 2016), Estonia (2-8 August 2016), Finland (9-15 August 2016), Sweden (16-21 August 2016), Norway (22-26 August 2016), Denmark (27 August – 3 September 2016) and Germany (4-9 September 2016).
The UWC calls upon Ukrainian community organizations in countries welcoming the tour to participate in associated events.
