Ukrainian wins beauty pageant in the Middle East

Ukraine’s Angelina Usanova won the Miss Eco International 2024 beauty pageant in Egypt on April 28. She was crowned and awarded a trophy and will fulfill the role of a UN Goodwill Ambassador for ecology and the environment. In this capacity, she will engage in programs to assist the planet.

Miss Eco International is the largest beauty pageant in the Middle East and is the most well-known. It aims to select the most beautiful girl who advocates for ecotourism and nature conservation. Representatives from 85 countries participate annually. The event’s slogan is “Beauty With A Purpose: Protecting The Environment.”

Angelina Usanova is a model, singer, and songwriter focusing on peace, ecology, and love. She has received education in India and Austria and is also a certified yoga instructor. She has a clear civic position – since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, she has been organizing charity concerts, raising funds to aid Ukrainian war victims, finding housing for displaced persons, and providing moral support through meditation and yoga sessions. Additionally, she has raised a significant sum of money, which she donated to purchase vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Last year, Usanova also won the Miss Universe 2023 international beauty pageant in El Salvador, where she received an award for the best national costume. She was also awarded the Voice of Change badge for her intelligence and active stance.
