Activists of the Ukrainian House, the only civic organization of Ukrainians in Jordan, gathered in the Ukrainian Embassy to celebrate its fifth anniversary.
Welcoming the guests, Ambassador of Ukraine to Jordan Myroslava Scherbatyuk called on the diaspora to help Ukraine. “Trouble always unites. The worst thing has happened – a full-scale war. I thank everyone for their help and support. Our country needs each and every one of us: our voices, our contributions, help in the form of medicines and other humanitarian aid”, she said.
The ambassador also gave awards to active community members. The celebration included a concert and wound up in an outdoor buffet.
UWC joins in the congratulations and wishes the Ukrainian House and all of the Ukrainian community in Jordan further development and prosperity.
