Ukrainian global communities honored the memory of the victims of the Holodomor-Genocide

Starting from November 26, Ukrainians all over the world started an annual commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor. On this day, the UWC called on all Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine to light a candle in their windows in memory of the victims of the Holodomor genocide of 1932-1933, as well as to take an active part in commemorative events in communities worldwide.

The premiere of the mini-film Names on the Wall, dedicated to the memory of the generations and peoples lost by the Russian occupiers, took place on the UWC Facebook page. Russia has not stopped trying to exterminate Ukrainians.

Today, Ukrainians in Portugal once again appealed to the Portuguese Parliament to recognize the new genocide, which is planned and implemented from the same center – Moscow. “Unfortunately, at the cost of Ukrainian lives, the thesis that unpunished evil repeats itself is once again confirmed?” – noted the head of the Union of Ukrainians in Portugal, Pavlo Sadokha.
