Ukrainian-language audio guides will be added to buses in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian Central Representation, which facilitated the process, announced Zoia Klymenko, a Ukrainian activist and wife of the Ukrainian ambassador to Argentina. Ukrainian tourists will now be able to sightsee on wheels in their native language.
The continental-wide project in South America was first implemented under the patronage of Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska.
“We thank the Ukrainian Central Representation in Argentina and its President, Dr. Pedro Lylyk, for their support,” Klymenko stated.

Lylyk played a key role in the project by establishing communication with the company that operates the tour buses. Additionally, agreements were made with city authorities.
Just two Ukrainian embassy staff members processed all 80 pages of Ukrainian text, including translation, help with narration, proofreading, final audio editing, and error corrections, according to Klymenko.
In March, the Ukrainian Association in Finland announced the introduction of a Ukrainian audio guide at the Finnish Photography Museum in Helsinki.
Earlier, a Ukrainian audio guide was launched on the sightseeing route of the Finnish capital’s “Historic Center of Helsinki,” and on one of Finland’s largest and most important tourist locations, the island fortress of Suomenlinna (Sveaborg).
