Ukraine’s victory in children’s eyes

The organizers of the children’s collage marathon “I Imagine Ukraine’s Victory” shared the works of the first participants – Ukrainian children from Australia. The project is being implemented by the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations (WFUWO) on the initiative of the Head of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) Mission and Vice President Nataliya Poshyvaylo-Towler and with the support of Fulbright Scholar Yulia Kravchenko.

Entry 1. Ivan Ionov, 8, born in Ukraine, Kyiv; now in Australia, Melbourne. Annotation to artwork: When victory, glorified by the Cossack spirit, comes to Ukraine, the news will reach Antarctica!

“What do Ukrainian children and young people who permanently reside or have found temporary refuge from the war outside Ukraine dream about? Children dream of their home, a cat waiting for them, seeing their grandparents, reuniting their families, and returning to their classmates. This is the Victory, the little things of a peaceful life without threats from missiles and destruction,” says Nataliya Poshyvaylo-Towler, the project’s initiator.

Entry 2. Kostyantyn Ionov, 5, born in Ukraine, Kyiv, now in Melbourne, Australia. Annotation to artwork: When victory comes to Ukraine, the news will spread like an embroidered towel to the shores of distant countries, and Ukrainian dances and songs will be heard worldwide.

Children and youth aged 5 to 18 worldwide are invited to participate in the competition.
