Within a week of the start of the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian troops liberated 300 settlements.
Hanna Maliar, Deputy Defense Minister, announced this during a nationwide telethon:
“The operation to liberate the Kharkiv region has been ongoing for several days and was planned to last for several days. Since September 6, 3,800 square kilometers, over 300 settlements, and approximately 150,000 of our people were from the occupation. The operation is ongoing, it is planned to continue until the complete liberation of the Kharkiv region”.
