Ukraine will continue to attack Crimean Bridge – Reznikov

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to attack the Kerch (Crimean) Bridge and strike the occupied Crimea territory, announced Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov.

“All these targets are official targets because it will reduce their capacity to fight against us (and) will help to save the lives of Ukrainians,” Reznikov said.

The defense minister explained that destroying the enemy’s logistics lines to stop the supply of resources is a common practice. At the same time, Russia systematically uses the Crimean Bridge to transfer personnel, equipment, and weapons for hostilities in Ukraine. “That’s why we will use these tactics against them,” Reznikov concluded.

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukraine has attacked the Crimean bridge at least twice – last year in October and again this year on July 17.

In addition, on July 21, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the bridge connecting Russia with occupied Crimea is necessary for Moscow’s invasion and “must be neutralized.”
