The Russian and Belarusian dictators agreed to deploy a joint military group

Russia and Belarus have agreed on the deployment of a joint regional grouping of troops and have already begun its formation, the RIA Novosti Telegram channel reported yesterday.

“In connection with the escalation on the western borders of the Union State [of Russia and Belarus], we agreed on the deployment of the regional grouping of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus… If the threat level reaches the current level, as it is now, we will begin to engage the groups of the Union State,” the Russian propagandists quote Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko. “The basis… of this group is the army, the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus. I must inform you that the formation of this group has begun.”

Yesterday, at a meeting with the military and security forces, Lukashenko also stated that Minsk was allegedly “warned about an attack on Belarus from the territory of Ukraine” through unofficial channels the day before, Ukrainian Pravda reports.
