For more than a month now, the international Ukrainian communities, organizations, churches, schools, and cultural institutions, as well as Ukrainian families and their friends have been hosted countless rallies in support of Ukraine. On February 16, the Day of Unity proclaimed by the President of Ukraine, residents of dozens of cities and capitals of the world responded to the call to demonstrate their support for Ukraine.
The advocacy of Ukrainian organizations within the UWC has not stopped for a moment. The Prosvita Ukrainian Cultural Society in Argentina sent a letter to the President of Argentina asking for solidarity with Ukraine against the background of Russian aggression. Marise Payne, Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, reaffirmed her support for Ukraine and has supported the work of the Ukrainian community, led by the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations. UWC leaders and community leaders are actively advocating for Ukraine’s position in the media. We invite you to read and review recent interviews with UWC President Paul Grod, First Vice President Stefan Romaniw, Director of UWC Mission to the UN Andriy Dobriansky, and UWC Regional Vice President Pavlo Sadokha.
