The Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia has set a “new task” for the so-called “authorities of the Kherson region” – to prepare a “referendum” on the inclusion of the region in the Russian Federation by the fall. This was announced by Kherson Governor Hennadiy Lahuta during a live broadcast on the Rada TV channel.
The Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin said that there was a threat of cholera outbreak in Mariupol, as reported during a news telethon by Mariupol Mayor’s Adviser Petro Andryushchenko.
According to Mr Andryushchenko, information began to arrive that there was cholera in the city. “We are watching the city closely. It has been reported that the Russian side has prepared separate infectious disease units in Rostov-on-Don where they are to receive their own troops who may be affected by the epidemic, and the word ‘cholera’ is heard inside the city spoken by occupying authorities and their curators. Therefore, the city is closing. Of all the scenarios, Russia has chosen the most cynical,” Mr Andryushchenko added. Mariupol residents receive drinking water every two days and there is a shortage of food.
Russian-occupied Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhya region was visited by First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko in connection with preparations for a false referendum, as reported by occupation authorities to the propaganda agency RIA Novosti.
The illegal Russia-appointed mayor of Melitopol Galina Danilchenko continued to spread propaganda thickly, “And we, in turn, are very grateful to Russia for the help and support they give us in building this life. We know that our future is one with Russia. Russia is here forever. And now we are starting to prepare for the referendum.”
