Russians wipe out Pryazovia and Azov Sea ecosystem

The Russians are destroying the ecosystem of the Pryazovia region (the geographic area of the north coast of the Sea of Azov) and the Sea of Azov. Invaders filled up two-thirds of the Kalmius River in occupied Mariupol to build a crossing, said Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.

“2/3 of the Kalmius River was filled up for the sake of the bridge. That is, the Sea of Azov has three times less fresh water. Just for Putin to launch KamAZs trucks online,” Andriushchenko wrote.

The ecocide arranged by Russia in the Azov region can already be seen with the naked eye, the mayor’s adviser said. “October. Azov. Mariupol district. Jellyfish. This is an anomaly. October and jellyfish are like a blizzard in the middle of hot July,” Andriushchenko explained.

The Russians also fully destroyed the natural current for the sake of two other bridges across the Kalchyk River in Mariupol. “Deliberate actions aimed at critical disruption of the Pryazovia and the Sea of Azov ecosystem. That is, ecocide,” Andriushchenko concluded.

Ukraine plans to file a fifth lawsuit against Russia for crimes against ecocide in international courts.
