Russians develop new methods for deporting Ukrainian children

Russians are developing new schemes to “legalize” the deportation of Ukrainian children from occupied territories to Russia, the National Resistance Center (NRC) reported.

Under the guise of “caring” for the sick and orphans, the occupation authorities are organizing the forced transfer of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to Russia. The collaborators call it “evacuation” or “rehabilitation” in an attempt to create the appearance of legality and humanity of their actions,” the statement says.

The Kremlin’s accomplices have expanded this criminal activity using the Oduvanchyky (“Dandelions”) children’s hospice as a base. “Initially, it operated on the territory of the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, but recently its activities have expanded to the Luhansk region,” the NRC reports.

Pretending to provide comprehensive care for children with severe illnesses (including cancer), orphans, and those deprived of parental care, Russians are creating a system for further relocating young Ukrainians to Russia.

This “practice” is a gross violation of international law, in particular the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which protects children from forcible transfer and separation from their families. These crimes can only be stopped after the complete de-occupation of Ukrainian lands,” the center emphasized.

Earlier, the NRC reported that Russia plans to build concentration camps in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
