Ukrainian schools under Russian occupation: Russians indoctrinate children

The National Resistance Center (NRC)  has reported that Russian occupiers are persistently indoctrinating Ukrainian children in the territories they currently hold. With the new school year approaching, the invaders are preparing to implement a so-called ‘curriculum’ that features studying poems about the ‘special military operation’.

“Relevant literature has already been delivered to the occupied schools. The poems are intended for children in grades 1-4. Of course, the poems glorify the invaders and discredit the Motherland,” the text reads.

This is a deliberate continuation of the policy to alter the self-identity of an entire generation of Ukrainians, the NRC emphasizes, and this constitutes genocide under international law. “Such crimes point to the true goal of the Kremlin’s war of aggression, namely the destruction of Ukrainians as a nation,” the analysts conclude.

Earlier, it was reported that the Russians are also bringing in new ‘teachers’ to instill propagandistic ideas among the residents of temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. Thus, the occupiers are engaging in their campaign to Russify the regions they have captured.
