The New York Times published a map of Russian rocket attacks on Ukraine on June 25-26. Kyiv had the most attacks.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov called on the West to deprive Russia of access to military technology and to deploy effective air defense systems in Ukraine.
“The meanness of these attacks is that they are carried out either from the depths of Russia, or from the territory of Belarus or the waters of the Caspian and Black Seas,” the defense minister wrote on Facebook.
In his opinion, this is a strategic challenge for the security of the whole of Europe, and therefore, a quick response should consist of strengthening sanctions and deploying an effective air defense / missile defense system in Ukraine. “This is an additional 500-1000 km of security for each European city. This is a very clear and logical step that needs to be enshrined in NATO’s strategy.”
